Times and Locations
Our Wharf Runners Program meets on Tuesdays at 6:00 PM (Aptos High School: 100 Mariner Way, Aptos, CA 95003) and Saturdays at 8:00 AM (Fleet Feet Aptos: 7960 Soquel Dr suite i, Aptos, CA 95003). Group activities usually last 60-75 minutes, depending on the distance of the run/walk.
As a Wharf Runner, you'll receive:

Two coached group runs each week on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings

Supportive mentors to pace and encourage you throughout the program

A weekly training plan with detailed suggestions for runs throughout the week

Training Details:
Wharf Runners welcomes and celebrates everybody and every body! While our programs are designed to build on one another so that we become comfortable with longer distances organically, we welcome new runners and walkers to our program as well, and we generally recommend that being able to run, walk, or use a combination of run/walk comfortably for at least 2-3 miles at the start of the program is a solid base for us to build on to reach your 10K goal by the end of the program. Community
The camaraderie of training with a group week after week will take your training to the next level. When the training gets more rigorous, you'll have the collective strength of the group to keep you moving forward. When you crush a key workout, the group will be there to celebrate your achievement. And on those early mornings when you just don't feel like getting out of bed, the training group will keep you accountable.
Run Coaching
Fleet Feet's team of experienced coaches will check in with you at every training run to keep track of your progress, keep you motivated, and give you individualized coaching. Training groups will be small, so you'll have plenty of one-on-one time with your coach.
