The Big Run 5K is our celebration of Global Running Day.
Fleet Feet Training Programs are for runners of all experience levels. Long runs will be held on Saturday mornings.
This program will offer 5K/10K distances although the goal race is a 5k The training plan will accommodate all levels from beginners to experienced runners.
Participants will receive a complete training plan that includes workouts to be completed on days we do not meet as a group.
Goal race is The Big Run on June 8, however, participants do not need to be training for a race to join! All training plans will include a progressive increase in mileage as well as optional run/walk intervals. Routes will be marked and are “out and back” to accommodate a variety of distances. There are a number of water fountains along the course, but runners are encouraged to carry their own water. Saturday long runs will begin at 7 am Locations will rotate between the Quarry store, the Rim store, and several running paths in the area. The fee for this program is $50. Runners also have a virtual only option for only $20.
Program starts 7:00 am April 6, 2024 and ends with The Big Run on June 8, 2024.
Training program registration does not nclude race registration.
