Half Marathon Training Program

JOIN Fleet Feet Sports and TRAIN for the Fayetteville Half Marathon.

  • Training plan officially begins Saturday, August 16 at 8am
  • $120 total package fee
  • Minimum number of 20 participants needed. Maximum of 75
  • The cut-off date to register (if space is available) for the training plan package is September 20.

  • 12-week training plan designed by Fleet Feet Sports
  • Free online workout log through Athlete Forward
  • 2 coached group runs per week (Sat. group run and speed)

  • Kick-off and sign-up party at Fleet Feet on Friday, August 1st at 5:30pm.

  • Saturday Half Marathon Group Run - 8am, Fleet Feet
  • Speed Workouts - Time, day and location to be announced

Ready to walk or run your first 5K? Then, this is the program for you.
Sponsored by Fleet Feet Sports.




•Complete 10 week 5K training schedule.
•Weekly coach-supported group run on Sat. @ 8am.
•Group meets at Vandergriff/McNair Schools’ Track on Saturday’s with coach.
•Weekly email/updates providing workouts for each week.
•Informational seminars on Saturdays.
•Program Fee: $35 (does not include race fee)
•Free tech tee.
•Program begins July 12, 2014
•Graduation 5K Race  is the Spirit Challenge 5K which is on September 20, 2014.  This race is in Fayetteville and begins at 8am.
•Minimum of 20 participants needed. Maximum of 45 participants.

A 5K training program is a great way to meet a running partner, and fun because you train with a group.
