Race description:The Poultry Fest 5K Run/ Walk will be held at the Pinnacle Promenade Mall in Rogers, AR on Saturday, June 14, 2008 as part of the 49th Annual Poultry Festival sponsored by The Poultry Federation. The Poultry Federation is a non-profit trade organization serving the states of Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. This event has been held in Little Rock the past 3 years, and in Hot Springs prior to that. This year marks the first time the event is being held in NW Arkansas. Festival and race proceeds are used to promote and protect all interests relating to the Poultry Industry in the tri-state region including production, distribution, food & environmental safety, research, education, and support of youth programs involved in poultry work. |
